One of four beings approached a white bull and instructed it in secret. The bull became a man and built a large vessel. He and three other bulls entered the vessel. Water rose and covered the land, drowning all animals except those in the vessel. The water receded, and the white bull, now a man, and the other bulls left the vessel. They began to create different animals, including a white bull. These animals started to harm each other. The white bull produced a wild ass and a white sheep. The sheep gave birth to twelve sheep. One of these sheep was given to wolves and lived among them. The Lord of the sheep brought the other eleven sheep to live with the one among the wolves, and they multiplied. The wolves began to harm the sheep, and the sheep cried out to their Lord. The Lord came and led the sheep, placing himself between them and the wolves. The wolves pursued the sheep to a sea, but the sea swallowed the wolves. The sheep escaped and went to a wilderness where the Lord of the sheep cared for them. The sheep's leader became a man and built a house for the Lord of the sheep. The leader died, and new sheep took his place. The sheep sometimes followed their leaders and sometimes strayed. The Lord of the sheep sent a ram to protect the sheep from the wolves and other animals. The ram led the sheep and destroyed the wolves. The ram had offspring and died, and a new ram took his place. The sheep again strayed and were harmed by the wolves. The Lord of the sheep sent shepherds to care for the sheep, but the shepherds harmed the sheep and gave them to the wolves. The shepherds destroyed the sheep's house and tower. The Lord of the sheep remained silent as the shepherds harmed the sheep. A writer recorded the shepherds' actions and showed them to the Lord of the sheep. The shepherds pastured the sheep for twelve hours, and some sheep began to rebuild the house and tower. The shepherds continued to harm the sheep, and the Lord of the sheep did not intervene. The writer showed the book of the shepherds' actions to the Lord of the sheep and implored him on behalf of the sheep.
One of the four angels went to the white bull and gave him a secret message without scaring him. The white bull, who was born as a bull but became a man, then built a large boat and lived in it. Three other bulls lived with him in the boat, and they were all covered up.
I looked up at the sky again and saw a high roof with seven strong streams of water on it. These streams were pouring a lot of water into a fenced area.
I saw again, and there were springs that opened up on the surface of that large area, and the water started to rise and spread across the surface. I watched as that area was completely covered with water.
The water, darkness, and mist grew stronger. As I watched, the water rose higher than the walls of the enclosure, flowing over them and covering the earth.
All the animals in that pen were gathered together, and I watched as they sank, were swallowed up, and died in the water.
A vessel floated on the water, but all the oxen, elephants, camels, donkeys, and other animals sank to the bottom. I couldn't see them anymore, and they couldn't escape. They were destroyed and sank into the depths.
I saw in the vision that the water torrents were taken away from the high roof, the chasms of the earth were filled in, and new deep pits were opened.
The water started to drain away, revealing the dry land. The vessel came to rest on the earth, and the darkness faded as light appeared.
A white bull that had turned into a man came out of the boat, along with three other bulls. One of these bulls was white like the first one, another was red like blood, and the third was black. Then the white bull left them.
They started creating animals of the field and birds, resulting in various kinds: lions, tigers, wolves, dogs, hyenas, wild boars, foxes, squirrels, pigs, falcons, vultures, kites, eagles, and ravens; and among them was born a white bull.
They started to attack each other, but the white bull born among them had a wild donkey and another white bull. The wild donkeys increased in number.
The bull born from him had a black wild boar and a white sheep. The boar had many offspring, but the sheep had twelve lambs.
Here is the rewritten verse: When those twelve sheep had grown, they gave one of them to the donkeys, and the donkeys then gave that sheep to the wolves, and that sheep grew up among the wolves.
The Lord brought eleven sheep to live and graze with the first sheep among the wolves, and they grew in number, becoming many flocks of sheep.
The wolves became afraid of the sheep and attacked them, killing their young and throwing them into a large river. The sheep cried out in distress over their lost young and pleaded with their Lord for help.
A sheep that had escaped from the wolves ran away to the wild donkeys. I saw the sheep crying and begging their Lord for help with all their strength. The Lord of the sheep heard their cries and came down from his high place to take care of them.
He called the sheep that had gotten away from the wolves and spoke to it about the wolves, telling it to warn them not to harm the sheep.
The sheep followed the Lord's command and approached the wolves. Another sheep joined it, and together they went into the wolves' group. They spoke to the wolves, warning them not to harm the sheep anymore.
I saw the wolves attacking the sheep with all their strength, causing them great distress, and the sheep cried out in protest.
The Lord came to the sheep, and they started to strike the wolves. The wolves began to wail, but the sheep became calm and stopped their crying.
I watched as the sheep left the wolves, but the wolves couldn't see, so they chased the sheep with all their strength.
The Lord of the sheep led them, and all the sheep followed Him. His face was bright, glorious, and frightening to look at.
The wolves chased the sheep until they reached a large body of water.
The sea split open, with water on both sides, and their Lord led them through, standing between them and the wolves.
The wolves couldn't see the sheep at first, so the sheep went into the middle of the sea. Then the wolves spotted them and chased the sheep into the sea.
When they saw the Lord of the sheep, they tried to run away, but the sea came together as it was originally created, and the water rose up and covered the wolves.
From the time Noah died until the Israelites left Egypt.
The sheep got out of the water and went into a desert where there was no water or grass. Then they opened their eyes and could see. I saw the Lord of the sheep taking care of them, giving them water and grass, and one sheep leading them.
A sheep climbed to the top of that high mountain, and the Lord of the sheep sent it to them.
I saw the Lord of the sheep standing before them, looking powerful, awe-inspiring, and majestic. All the sheep saw Him and were frightened.
They were all afraid and shaking because of Him, and they cried out to the sheep among them, "We can't stand before our Lord or even look at Him."
The leading sheep climbed back to the top of the rock, but the others started to lose their way and follow a different path than the one he had shown them. He didn't realize this was happening.
The Lord of the sheep was very angry with them. The sheep that had seen this went down from the top of the rock and came to the others. It found that most of them were lost and unable to see.
They were afraid and shook with fear when they saw it, and wanted to go back to their pens.
A sheep took others with it and went to the sheep that had strayed. It started killing them, and the other sheep were afraid. Then that sheep brought back the stray sheep, and they returned to their pens.
I saw in this vision that the sheep became a man and built a house for the Lord of the sheep, putting all the sheep inside that house.
I watched as the leading sheep fell asleep, and all the big sheep died, with small ones taking their place. They went to a pasture and came to a stream of water.
The leading sheep, which had become a man, left them and fell asleep. All the other sheep searched for it and cried loudly over it.
I watched as they stopped crying for that sheep and crossed the stream of water. Then, two new sheep took the place of the leaders who had died.
Israel in the wilderness, receiving the law, entering the land of Palestine.
Sometimes their eyes were open, and other times they were blind. This continued until another sheep appeared, guiding them back and restoring their sight.
And the dogs, foxes, and wild boars started to eat the sheep. Then the Lord of the sheep raised up a ram from among them to lead the flock.
The ram started to butt and attack the dogs, foxes, and wild boars on both sides until it had destroyed all of them.
The sheep with open eyes saw the ram that was among them. The ram gave up its honor and started to butt the other sheep, trample on them, and act badly.
The Lord of the sheep sent a lamb to another lamb, made it grow into a ram, and appointed it as the new leader of the sheep, replacing the ram that had abandoned its position.
It approached the ram and spoke to it privately, elevating it to become a leader and guide for the sheep. However, throughout this time, the dogs continued to trouble the sheep.
The first ram chased the second ram, and the second ram ran away. I watched as the dogs brought down the first ram.
The second ram stood up and became the leader of the small sheep.
The sheep increased in number, but all the dogs, foxes, and wild boars were afraid and ran away from them. The ram fought and killed the wild animals, so they could no longer harm the sheep. The ram had many lambs and then died. A small lamb took its place and became the leader of the sheep.
From the time of the judges until the temple was built.
I saw the people again going astray, each following their own path, and they abandoned their faith. Then the Lord called some of them to guide the others back, but the people turned against these chosen ones and started to harm them.
One of them escaped and wasn't killed. It ran away and called out to the sheep. The sheep tried to kill it, but the Lord of the sheep protected it from the sheep. He brought it to me and let it stay there.
He sent many other sheep to those sheep to warn them and mourn for them.
After that, I saw that when they abandoned the Lord's house and His tower, they completely strayed, and their eyes were blinded. I saw how the Lord of the sheep caused great slaughter among them in their herds until those sheep invited that slaughter and betrayed His place.
He handed them over to lions, tigers, wolves, hyenas, foxes, and all the wild animals, which then tore the sheep apart.
He abandoned their house and their tower, handing them over to lions to tear and devour them, and to all the wild beasts.
I started shouting as loudly as I could, begging the Lord of the sheep for help, and telling Him that the sheep were being eaten by all the wild animals.
He stayed calm and watched it happen, even feeling glad that they were being destroyed and taken away, letting the animals deal with them.
He called seventy shepherds and gave them the sheep to take care of. He told the shepherds and their helpers, "Each of you is now responsible for these sheep. Do whatever I tell you to do."
He will hand them over to you, counted and numbered, and tell you which ones to destroy. Then you must destroy them. He handed over those sheep to them.
He called another one and said to him, "Watch and pay attention to everything the shepherds do to the sheep. They will kill more of them than I have told them to."
Every wrongdoing and destruction caused by the shepherds should be recorded, noting how many they destroy as I command and how many they destroy on their own. Each shepherd's actions and the destruction they cause should be recorded individually.
And tell me exactly how many they destroy and how many they hand over for destruction. I want this as proof against them, so I can see every action of the shepherds. I want to understand and observe what they do, and whether they follow my command that I gave them.
They won't understand, so don't explain it to them or warn them. Just keep a record of every single destructive act that each shepherd does during their time, and show it all to me.
I watched as the shepherds tended the flock in their time, but they started to kill and destroy more than they were told to. They handed the sheep over to the lions.
The lions and tigers ate and devoured most of the sheep, and the wild boars ate with them. They also burned the tower and destroyed the house.
The two kingdoms of Israel and Judah, leading to the destruction of Jerusalem.
The shepherds and their helpers handed the sheep over to all the wild animals to eat. Each one of them was given a specific number of sheep to destroy, and it was recorded in a book how many each one destroyed.
And each one killed and destroyed many more than they were supposed to. I started to cry and mourn for those sheep.
I saw in the vision the one who was recording everything. He wrote down each person destroyed by the shepherds, day by day. Then he took the book and showed it to the Lord of the sheep, detailing everything the shepherds had done, everyone they had eliminated, and everything they had caused to be destroyed.
The first time the angels ruled, it started when Jerusalem was destroyed and lasted until the people returned from captivity.
I saw the shepherds tending the sheep for twelve hours. Then, three of the sheep turned back, entered the house, and started repairing everything that had fallen down. The wild boars tried to stop them, but they couldn't.
They started building again as they had before, and they constructed a tall tower, which they called the high tower. Then they set up a table in front of the tower, but all the bread on it was impure and not clean.
The sheep and their shepherds were blinded and couldn't see what was happening. As a result, the shepherds handed over many of the sheep to be destroyed. They stomped on the sheep and ate them.
The Lord of the sheep stood still while all the sheep scattered across the field and mixed with the wild animals, and the shepherds did not protect them from the wild animals.
This person who wrote the book took it up and showed it to the Lord of the sheep. He read it aloud and pleaded with Him on behalf of the sheep, showing Him all the actions of the shepherds and testifying against them. Then, he placed the book next to Him and left.
During the time from Cyrus to Alexander the Great.
