Chapter XXIII Summary

I went to a place far to the west. There, I saw a fire that never stopped moving. It kept going day and night without pausing. I asked what this fire was. Raguel, an angel with me, said it was a fire in the west. It chases all the lights in the sky.

I then traveled to another place, far to the west, at the edge of the earth.

Verse 2

I saw a fire that was always burning and never stopped moving. It kept going day and night without pausing.

Verse 3

And I asked, "What is this that doesn't move?"

Verse 4

Raguel, one of the holy angels with me, explained to me: "The river of fire you saw is the fire in the west that chases all the lights of the sky."
