Chapter LVI🇪🇸🇷🇺🇮🇳🇨🇳Enoch

Chapter LVI Summary

Angels of punishment are seen holding scourges and chains. They are going to take their elect and beloved ones to a deep valley. This valley will be filled with them, and their time will be up. Their days of leading others astray will be over. Then, the angels will go to the east. They will stir up the kings of the Parthians and Medes. These kings will become restless and attack the land of God's chosen people. The land will be like a threshing floor for them, but the city of the righteous will block their way. The kings will start fighting each other. They will not recognize their own family members. Many will die, and their punishment will not be wasted. In the end, hell will open its mouth. The sinners will be swallowed up, and their destruction will be complete. Hell will devour the sinners in front of the chosen ones.

Verse 1

I saw the angelic forces of punishment on their way, carrying whips and chains made of iron and bronze.

Verse 2

I asked the angel of peace who was with me, "Where are those with the whips going?"

Verse 3

He said to me, "This is for their chosen and beloved ones, so they can be thrown into the deep pit of the valley."

Verse 4

Then that valley will be filled with their chosen and beloved ones. The time of their lives will be over, and the days they were misled will no longer be counted.

Verse 5

In those days, the angels will go back and attack the Parthians and Medes in the east. They will provoke the kings, making them restless. This will cause the kings to rise from their thrones, ready to attack like lions leaving their dens and wolves hunting their prey.

Verse 6

They will invade and trample the land of God's chosen people. The land of God's chosen ones will be like a threshing floor and a highway for them. But the city of my righteous people will block their horses. They will start fighting among themselves, and their own strength will turn against them. People won't recognize their brothers, nor will sons recognize their fathers or mothers. There will be so many dead that no one can count them, and their punishment will not be in vain. In those days, the grave will open its mouth, and they will be swallowed up in it. Their destruction will be complete; the grave will devour the sinners in the presence of the righteous.

Verse 8

The final battle of the nations against Israel.
