The leaders of the thousands, who oversee all creation and stars, also manage the four extra days in the year. These days are not counted in the usual year's reckoning. These leaders work on these four days and are always on duty. Because of them, people sometimes make mistakes in counting the days. These leaders work in specific spots in the sky: one in the first, one in the third, one in the fourth, and one in the sixth. The year is exactly 364 days long because of these spots. The angel Uriel showed all this to Enoch. God put Uriel in charge of all the lights in the sky. These lights guide the day and night. They include the sun, moon, stars, and other things that move in the sky. Uriel also showed Enoch twelve doors in the sun's path. These doors open at certain times to let the sun's warmth out. There are also twelve doors in the sky at the edges of the earth. The sun, moon, and stars come out through these doors. There are many windows near these doors. One window opens at a time to let warmth out. The stars come out and go back in through these doors in an orderly way. Enoch saw chariots in the sky. They move around the sky above the doors where the stars that never set move. One chariot is bigger than the others. It moves all around the world.
The leaders of the thousands, who oversee all creation and the stars, are also responsible for the four extra days. These days are part of their duties and are not counted in the regular year. They serve during these four days that are not included in the yearly count.
Because of them, people make mistakes, as these lights serve on their assigned paths: one at the first gate, one at the third, one at the fourth, and one at the sixth. This is how the year is completed through its 364 separate stations.
The angel Uriel, whom the Lord of glory has put in charge of all the lights in the sky, showed me the signs, the seasons, the years, and the days. He is in charge of these lights both in the sky and on earth, so they can guide the day and night. This includes the sun, moon, stars, and all the other heavenly bodies that move in their paths across the sky.
Uriel showed me twelve doors around the edge of the sun's chariot in the sky. The sun's rays come through these doors, and when they open at the right times, they spread warmth across the earth.
When the winds and the spirit of the dew are opened, they stand open in the heavens at the ends.
The twelve openings in the sky at the edges of the earth are where the sun, moon, stars, and everything else in the heavens come out from, both in the east and the west.
There are many windows on the left and right sides of the firmament. One window opens at the right time to bring warmth. These windows are like the doors through which the stars come out and go back in, following the commands given to them.
I saw chariots in the sky, moving around the world, above the places where the stars that never set are located.
The largest star moves through the entire world.
