Chapter XV🇪🇸🇷🇺🇮🇳🇨🇳Enoch

Chapter XV Summary

Enoch is told not to fear and to approach. He is to tell the Watchers that they should intercede for men, not the other way around. The Watchers are asked why they left heaven to have sex with human women and have children with them. They were supposed to be holy and eternal, but they defiled themselves with human women and had children with them. Because of this, the Watchers' children, the giants, will be evil spirits on earth. The spirits of the Watchers will stay in heaven, but the spirits of the giants will cause trouble on earth. These evil spirits will harm people and cause problems.

Verse 1

He replied and said to me, and I heard His voice: 'Don't be afraid, Enoch, you are a righteous man and a writer of righteousness. Come closer and listen to my voice.'

Verse 2

Go and tell the heavenly Watchers who sent you to intercede for them: "You should be interceding for humans, not humans for you."

Verse 3

You left the high, holy, and eternal heaven to sleep with women, making yourselves unclean with human daughters, taking wives, acting like earthly men, and fathering giants as your children.

Verse 4

You were once holy, spiritual, and eternal, but you have defiled yourselves by having relations with women, producing children with human blood, and lusting after physical desires like mortals who die.

Verse 5

I have given them wives so they can have children and everything they need on earth.

Verse 6

You were once spiritual beings, living forever and never dying, throughout all time.

Verse 7

And that's why I haven't given you wives. The spiritual beings in heaven have their home there.

Verse 8

Evil spirits will be born from the union of spirits and flesh. They will live on the earth.

Verse 9

Evil spirits have come from their bodies. They were born from humans, but their beginning and origin are from the holy Watchers. They are evil spirits on earth and will be called evil spirits.

Verse 10

The spirits that belong to heaven will live in heaven, but the spirits that were born on earth will live on earth.

Verse 11

The evil spirits of the giants torment, oppress, and destroy people on earth, causing chaos and trouble. They don't eat, but they're always hungry and thirsty, and they lead people into doing wrong. These spirits will turn against human beings, both men and women, because they came from them.
