Chapter XLII Summary

Wisdom looked for a place to stay. She couldn't find one on earth. So, she went back to heaven and stayed with the angels. Then, unrighteousness left its home. It found people it didn't even look for. It stayed with them like rain in a desert or dew on dry land.

Verse 1

Wisdom couldn't find a place to stay on Earth, so she was given a home in heaven. She then went to live among people but couldn't find a suitable place, so she returned to heaven and settled among the angels. Meanwhile, wickedness left its hiding place. It found people it didn't even look for and lived with them, like rain in a desert or dew on dry land.
