Chapter LXXXI🇪🇸🇷🇺🇮🇳🇨🇳Enoch

Chapter LXXXI Summary

Enoch is shown heavenly tablets. He reads and understands everything written on them, including the deeds of all people. He praises God for creating the world and for his patience with humanity. Enoch says that people who live righteously will not face judgment. Seven holy beings bring Enoch back to earth and tell him to share this message with his son Methuselah and his other children. They say that no one is truly righteous in God's eyes. They will leave Enoch with his son for one year so he can teach his family. In the second year, they will take Enoch away. The holy ones say that the righteous will rejoice together, but sinners will die with other sinners. Even the righteous may die because of the actions of the wicked. After this, the holy ones stop speaking to Enoch. He returns to his people, blessing the Lord.

Verse 1

He said to me, "Enoch, look at these heavenly tablets and read what is written on them. Pay attention to every detail." I looked at the heavenly tablets and read everything written on them. I understood it all. I read the book of all human actions and about all the descendants of people who will be on earth until the very last generations.

Verse 3

I immediately blessed the great Lord, the King of glory forever, for creating all the works of the world. I praised the Lord for His patience and blessed Him for the sake of all people.

Verse 4

Blessed is the person who lives righteously and does good, for they have no record of wrongdoing, and judgment will not come upon them.

Verse 5

Here is the rewritten verse: Those seven holy ones brought me back and set me down on the ground in front of my house. They told me, 'Explain everything you've seen to your son Methuselah, and make sure all your children understand that no human is righteous in God's eyes, because He is the one who created them.'

Verse 6

In one year, we will leave you with your son so that you can give your final instructions, teach your children, and write down these things for them. You will also bear witness to all your children. In the second year, they will take you away from among them.

Verse 7

Here's the rewritten verse: Be strong in heart, because good people will tell good news to others. The righteous will celebrate with the righteous and congratulate each other.

Verse 8

The wicked will perish with the wicked, and those who abandon their faith will be destroyed with those who abandon their faith.

Verse 9

Those who do what is right will be killed because of the actions of others, and they will be taken away because of the wicked deeds of those around them.

Verse 10

And then they stopped talking to me, so I went back to my people, praising the Lord of all creation.
