Chapter CIV🇪🇸🇷🇺🇮🇳🇨🇳Enoch

Chapter CIV Summary

The angels in heaven remember the righteous and their names are written before God. The righteous should be hopeful because they will shine like lights in heaven and the gates of heaven will open for them. Their suffering will be judged and punished. They should not be afraid or lose hope, for they will have great joy like the angels. On the day of judgement, the righteous will not be found as sinners and will be far from eternal judgement. They should not fear the prosperity of sinners but keep away from their violence. Sinners think their sins are not recorded, but light and darkness see all their sins. Sinners should not lie or alter the words of the Holy One. They will try to change the words of righteousness and write lies, but when the words are written truthfully, they will cause joy and wisdom for the righteous. The righteous will be rewarded for learning from these books.

Verse 1

I promise you that in heaven, the angels think of you kindly in the presence of the Great One, and your names are recorded in the presence of the Great One.

Verse 2

Be hopeful; before, you were shamed by suffering, but now you will shine like the lights in the sky. You will shine brightly and be seen, and the gates of heaven will be opened to you.

Verse 3

When you cry out, ask for justice, and it will come. All your suffering will be punished on those in charge and everyone who supported those who took from you.

Verse 4

Be hopeful, and don't give up your hopes, for you will have great joy like the angels of heaven.

Verse 5

You won't need to hide on the day of the great judgement, and you won't be found guilty. The eternal judgement will be far from you for all generations.

Verse 6

And now, don't be afraid, you who are righteous, when you see the wicked growing strong and prospering. Don't join them, but stay away from their violence. You will become companions with the heavenly beings.

Verse 7

Here's the rewritten verse: Even though you sinners think, "Our sins won't be noticed or recorded," they are actually written down every single day.

Verse 8

Here is what I want you to understand: both light and darkness, day and night, are always watching your actions.

Verse 9

Don't be faithless in your hearts, don't lie, and don't twist the words of truth. Don't accuse the words of the Holy Great One of being false, and don't pay attention to your idols. All your lies and faithlessness don't lead to righteousness but to great sin.

Verse 10

Here's the rewritten verse: And now I understand this secret: sinners will twist and change the words of the righteous in many ways. They will speak evil, lie, and deceive greatly. They will also write books filled with their own words.

Verse 11

When they write down all my words accurately in their own languages, without changing or leaving anything out, but record them all truthfully—just as I first testified about them.

Verse 12

I also know another secret: books will be given to the righteous and wise people. These books will bring them happiness, guide them to do what is right, and give them much wisdom.

Verse 13

Here is the rewritten verse: And they will be given the books, and they will believe in them and be happy about them. Then all the righteous people who have learned from them will be rewarded for following the paths of righteousness.
