Verse 1

I raised my hands in righteousness, blessed the Holy and Great One, and spoke with the breath of my mouth and the tongue of flesh that God has given to humans so they can speak. He gave them breath, a tongue, and a mouth to speak with.

Verse 2

"Praise to You, Lord, King, mighty and great in Your power, ruler of all creation in heaven, King of kings and God of the entire world. Your power, kingship, and greatness last forever. Your rule continues through all generations. All of heaven is Your throne forever, and the whole earth is Your footstool forever."

Verse 3

You created and govern everything, and nothing is impossible for You. Wisdom never leaves Your throne or turns away from Your presence. You know, see, and hear all things, and nothing is hidden from You, for You see everything.

Verse 4

The angels in heaven have sinned, and your anger remains on humans until the final day of judgment.

Verse 5

I beg you, God and Lord and Great King, to answer my prayer. Let me have descendants on earth, and don't destroy all humanity. Don't make the earth empty of people, so that everything is forever ruined.

Verse 6

And now, Lord, remove from the earth the corrupt flesh that angers You. But preserve the righteous and upright, let them be like a planted garden of eternal descendants. Do not turn away from the prayers of Your servant, Lord.
