All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.

All your clothes smell of sweet myrrh, aloes, and cassia from the fancy ivory buildings, which make you very happy.

King Joash of Israel went to meet Amaziah, the king of Judah, at a place called Bethshemesh. Both kings saw each other face-to-face there.

And say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things?

Ask him, What gives you the right to do these actions? And who granted you the permission to do them?

Therefore have I given them wives also that they might impregnate them, and beget children by them, that thus nothing might be wanting to them on earth.

And the remaining four come forth on the side of the north to their own sea, <two of them> to the Erythraean Sea, and two into the Great Sea and discharge themselves there [and some say: into the desert].

The other four rivers flow out from the north side to their own sea. Two of them go to the Red Sea, and two go to the Mediterranean Sea, emptying into them. Some say they flow into the desert instead.

For the signs and the times and the years and the days the angel Uriel showed to me, whom the Lord of glory hath set for ever over all the luminaries of the heaven, in the heaven and in the world, that they should rule on the face of the heaven and be seen on the earth, and be leaders for the day and the night, i.e. the sun, moon, and stars, and all the ministering creatures which make their revolution in all the chariots of the heaven.

The angel Uriel, whom the Lord of glory has put in charge of all the lights in the sky, showed me the signs, the seasons, the years, and the days. He is in charge of these lights both in the sky and on earth, so they can guide the day and night. This includes the sun, moon, stars, and all the other heavenly bodies that move in their paths across the sky.
