Joshua made war a long time with all those kings.

Joshua fought against many kings for a long time.

And am I now come up without the LORD against this land to destroy it? the LORD said unto me, Go up against this land, and destroy it.

Am I here without God's help to destroy this land? God told me to go and destroy this land.

And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.

Saul told Samuel, "I made a mistake. I broke God's rule and your words because I was scared of the people and followed what they wanted."

And all the blessings destined for them I have recounted in the books. And he hath assigned them their recompense, because they have been found to be such as loved heaven more than their life in the world, and though they were trodden under foot of wicked men, and experienced abuse and reviling from them and were put to shame, yet they blessed Me.

I have written down all the blessings that are meant for them in the books. God has given them their reward because they loved heaven more than their life on earth. Even though they were mistreated and insulted by wicked people, they still blessed Me.

And they began to bite one another; but that white bull which was born amongst them begat a wild ass and a white bull with it, and the wild asses multiplied.

They started to attack each other, but the white bull born among them had a wild donkey and another white bull. The wild donkeys increased in number.

But in those days blessed are all they who accept the words of wisdom, and understand them, And observe the paths of the Most High, and walk in the path of His righteousness, And become not godless with the godless; For they shall be saved.

In those days, those who accept and understand wise words, follow the ways of the Most High, and live in His righteousness without turning away from Him will be saved.
