This is the spirit of Abel, whom his brother Cain killed. Abel's spirit accuses Cain until Cain's descendants are wiped out from the earth and no longer exist among humanity.
"And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them acquainted with plants."
All the others also took wives for themselves, each choosing one. They started to have relations with them and became corrupted. They taught these women charms, spells, how to cut roots, and showed them different plants.
