All the gold and silver containers totaled 5,400. Sheshbazzar brought these items, along with the exiles, from Babylon to Jerusalem.
"And those seven holy ones brought me and placed me on the earth before the door of my house, and said to me: 'Declare everything to thy son Methuselah, and show to all thy children that no flesh is righteous in the sight of the Lord, for He is their Creator."
Here is the rewritten verse: Those seven holy ones brought me back and set me down on the ground in front of my house. They told me, 'Explain everything you've seen to your son Methuselah, and make sure all your children understand that no human is righteous in God's eyes, because He is the one who created them.'
"And from thence I went to the south to the ends of the earth, and saw there three open portals of the heaven: and thence there come dew, rain, +and wind+."
I then traveled south to the farthest parts of the earth and saw three open gateways in the sky. From these gateways come dew, rain, and wind.
"And in the day of our suffering and tribulation He saves us not, And we find no respite for confession That our Lord is true in all His works, and in His judgements and His justice, And His judgements have no respect of persons."
In times of suffering and trouble, He doesn't rescue us, and we don't get a chance to admit that our Lord is always right in what He does, in His judgments, and in His fairness. His judgments treat everyone the same.
