Enoch starts to talk about the children of righteousness and the elect of the world. He says he will tell them what he saw in a heavenly vision and what he learned from holy angels and heavenly tablets. Enoch says he was born in the first week when there was still judgement and righteousness. In the second week, great wickedness and deceit will arise. A man will be saved, and then unrighteousness will grow. A law will be made for the sinners. In the third week, a man will be chosen as the plant of righteous judgement. His descendants will be the plant of righteousness forever. In the fourth week, visions of the holy and righteous will be seen. A law will be made for all generations, and an enclosure will be built for them. In the fifth week, the house of glory and dominion will be built forever. In the sixth week, everyone will be blinded and will forsake wisdom. A man will ascend, and at the end of the week, the house of dominion will burn with fire. The chosen root will be dispersed. In the seventh week, an apostate generation will arise, and all their deeds will be apostate. At the end of the week, the elect righteous of the eternal plant of righteousness will be chosen. They will receive sevenfold instruction concerning all creation. Enoch questions who among men can hear the voice of the Holy One without being troubled, think His thoughts, or behold all the works of heaven. He asks who can understand the things of heaven, see a soul or a spirit, and tell about it. He wonders who can know the breadth and length of the earth, the measure of all things, the length and height of the heaven, and the number of the stars. He asks who can discern where all the luminaries rest.
Enoch then began to share what he had written in his books. He said, "I will tell you about the righteous people and those chosen from all over the world, and about the growth of goodness. I, Enoch, will share these things with you, my children. I will tell you what I saw in my vision of heaven, what I learned from the holy angels, and what I read on the heavenly tablets."
Enoch started to tell the story from the books and said: 'I was born seventh in the first week, when judgment and righteousness still existed.'
After my time, in the second period, great wickedness and deceit will appear. This period will mark the beginning of the end. During this time, one person will be saved. After this period ends, wickedness will increase, and a law will be established for the wicked.
In the third period, at its end, a man will be chosen to be the foundation of righteous judgment. His descendants will always be the foundation of righteousness.
In the fourth week, as it comes to an end, visions of the holy and righteous will be seen, and a law will be established for all generations, along with a place set apart for them.
Here is the rewritten verse: After that, in the fifth week, when it is ending, the house of glory and power will be built forever.
In the sixth week, everyone will lose their way, turning away from wisdom. Then, a man will rise up, but by the end of that week, the house of power will be destroyed by fire, and the chosen people will be scattered.
In the seventh week, a rebellious generation will appear, doing many things, and all of them will be rebellious.
At the end of this time, the chosen righteous ones from the eternal family of righteousness will be selected. They will receive sevenfold teaching about all of God's creation.
Who among all people can hear the voice of the Holy One without being disturbed? Who can understand His thoughts? And who can see all the works of heaven?
And who could ever see heaven, or understand what happens there, or see a soul or spirit and describe it, or go up to heaven and see how everything ends, and then think about these things or try to do them?
Who among all people could know the width and length of the earth, and who has been shown how to measure it?
Who can measure the vastness of the sky, its incredible height, what it is built upon, or count the countless stars and know where all the lights of heaven rest?
Here is the rewritten verse in simple modern English: "The final three weeks."
