Chapter CVI🇪🇸🇷🇺🇮🇳🇨🇳Enoch

Chapter CVI Summary

Methuselah's grandson, Lamech, had a son named Noah. Noah was unusual. His body was very white and red, his hair was white, and his eyes were bright. When he was born, he lit up the house like the sun. He also spoke to God right away. Lamech was scared and thought Noah might be from the angels. He asked his father Methuselah to go to Enoch for answers. Methuselah did, and Enoch told him that Noah was indeed Lamech's son. Enoch said that God was going to do something new. He explained that earlier, some angels had married women and had children. Because of the sin, a great flood would come and destroy the earth. But Noah and his three sons would survive. They would have children who would be giants, and the earth would be cleansed. Enoch told Methuselah to tell Lamech that Noah was his son and to name him Noah. He said Noah and his sons would be saved from the destruction.

Verse 1

After some time, my son Methuselah found a wife for his son Lamech. She had a baby boy.

Verse 2

His body was as white as snow and as red as a blooming rose. His hair and long locks were as white as wool, and his eyes were beautiful. When he opened his eyes, he lit up the entire house like the sun, making the whole place very bright.

Verse 3

He got up in the midwife's hands, opened his mouth, and spoke with the Lord of righteousness.

Verse 4

Lamech, his father, was scared of him and ran away to his own father, Methuselah.

Verse 5

He told him, "I have a strange son, unlike any human. He looks like the sons of the heavenly God. His nature is different from ours, and his eyes shine like the sun's rays. His face is glorious."

Verse 6

It seems to me that he is not my son but belongs to the angels, and I am afraid that something extraordinary might happen on earth during his lifetime.

Verse 7

And now, Father, I'm here to ask you to visit Enoch, our ancestor, and find out the truth from him, because he lives with the angels.

Verse 8

When Methuselah heard his son's words, he came to me at the farthest point of the earth, having heard that I was there. He shouted loudly, and I heard his voice, so I went to him. I asked, "Here I am, my son. Why have you come to me?"

Verse 9

I've come to you because I'm deeply troubled, and I've approached you because of a disturbing vision.

Verse 10

Here's the rewritten verse: And now, Father, listen to me: my son Lamech has had a child unlike any other. This child isn't like other humans. His skin is whiter than snow and redder than a rose's bloom. His hair is whiter than wool, and his eyes shine like the sun's rays. When he opened his eyes, the whole house lit up.

Verse 11

He stood up in the midwife's hands, opened his mouth, and praised the Lord of heaven.

Verse 12

Lamech, his father, was terrified and ran to me. He didn't believe that this child was his, but thought he looked like the angels from heaven. So, I've come to you to find out the truth.

Verse 13

I, Enoch, replied and said to him, 'God will do something new on the earth, and I have already seen this in a vision. I will tell you that in the time of my father Jared, some angels from heaven broke God's command.'

Verse 14

They sin and break the law by joining with women, marrying some of them, and having children with them.

Verse 15

A great disaster will happen across the entire earth, and there will be a flood and a great destruction that will last for one year.

Verse 16

This son born to you will remain on earth, and his three children will be saved with him. When all other people on earth die, he and his sons will be saved.

Verse 17

They will create giants on earth, but these will be physical beings, not spiritual. A great punishment will come upon the earth, and it will be cleansed of all impurity.

Verse 18

Here's the rewritten verse in simple modern English: "Now, tell your son Lamech that the child who has been born is truly his son. Name him Noah. He will be left to you, and he and his children will be saved from the destruction that will come to the earth because of all the sin and wrongdoing that will happen in his time."

Verse 19

After that, there will be even more wickedness than what has already happened on earth. I know the secrets of the holy ones because the Lord has shown and told me about them, and I have read them in the heavenly records.
