Enoch went to a chaotic and horrible place. He saw seven stars like big, burning mountains. He asked why they were bound there. Uriel, an angel, told him these stars had disobeyed God and were there for ten thousand years as punishment. Enoch then went to an even worse place. He saw a huge fire and deep cracks. He was scared and asked Uriel about it. Uriel said this was a prison for angels, where they would stay forever.
I went to a place that was in complete disorder.
I saw a terrifying place there: no sky above, no solid ground below, just chaos and horror.
I saw seven stars from the sky, tied up in that place, as big as mountains and burning with fire.
Then I asked, "Why are they bound? What did they do wrong to be thrown in here?"
Uriel, one of the holy angels who was with me and in charge of the others, said to me, "Enoch, why are you asking these questions and seeking the truth so eagerly?"
These are part of the stars of heaven that disobeyed the Lord's command. They are being held here until their punishment of ten thousand years is over, as that is the time their sins deserve.
I then went to another place, even worse than the last. There, I saw something terrifying: a massive fire burning and blazing. The ground was split open all the way down to the depths, filled with huge columns of fire descending. I couldn't see how far it stretched or how big it was, and I couldn't even guess.
This place is truly frightening and overwhelming to see.
Uriel, one of the holy angels with me, replied, "Enoch, why are you so afraid?" I answered, "Because this is a terrifying place, and the sight of the suffering is overwhelming."
He said to me: "This is where the angels are locked away, and they will stay here forever."
