People are told to love and follow righteousness. Bad paths will be destroyed. Some people will see violent and deadly paths but choose not to follow them. The righteous are told not to walk in wicked or deadly paths. They should seek righteousness and peace to live and prosper. They should hold onto these words. Sinners will try to tempt others away from wisdom. Bad things will happen to those who build unrighteousness, oppression, and deceit. Their houses will be destroyed, and they will be killed. Those who are rich and trust in their riches will lose them. They have committed blasphemy and unrighteousness. They are ready for a day of slaughter, darkness, and great judgement. The creator will overthrow them, and there will be no compassion for their fall. The creator will rejoice at their destruction.
Here is the rewritten verse: And now I tell you, my children, love what is right and live by it. The ways of righteousness are worth following, but the ways of wrongdoing will suddenly be destroyed and disappear.
Some people in every generation will learn about the ways of violence and death, but they will stay away from them and not follow them.
Here's the rewritten verse: And now I tell you who are righteous: Don't follow the ways of evil, or the paths that lead to death. Don't go near them, or you might be destroyed.
Seek and choose righteousness and a chosen life for yourselves. Walk in the paths of peace, and you will live and prosper.
Keep my words in your hearts and minds, and don't let them fade away. I know that sinners will try to turn people against wisdom, so that it has no place and no temptation can diminish it.
Here is the rewritten verse: Trouble will come to those who build their lives on injustice and cruelty, using lies as their foundation. They will be suddenly destroyed, and they will never find peace.
Trouble will come to those who build their lives on wrongdoing, for their entire lives will collapse, and they will be destroyed by violence. Those who gain wealth unfairly will suddenly be ruined.
Woe to you who are wealthy, for you have put your trust in your wealth. You will leave your riches behind because you did not remember the Most High during your days of prosperity.
You have spoken against God and done wrong, making yourselves ready for the day of slaughter, the day of darkness, and the day of the great judgment.
Here's the rewritten verse: I'm telling you this: The one who created you will destroy you, and when you fall, there will be no mercy. Your Creator will be happy when you are destroyed.
Woe to you, sinners, for you perish in your wickedness.
