Chapter VIII Summary
Azazel taught people to make weapons and jewelry. He showed them how to work with metals and stones. He also taught them how to make themselves look more beautiful. Other fallen angels taught people different kinds of magic and knowledge about the sky and earth. People started doing bad things. They forgot about God and did whatever they wanted. They suffered because of this. They cried out for help, and their cries reached heaven.
Azazel showed people how to make swords, knives, shields, and armor. He taught them about metals and how to work with them. He also showed them how to make jewelry, cosmetics, and how to use different stones and dyes to make things look beautiful.
People became very wicked, committing sexual sins, going astray, and corrupting their ways. Semjaza taught magic spells and plant cutting, Armaros taught how to undo spells, Baraqijal taught astrology, Kokabel taught about star patterns, Ezeqeel taught about clouds, Araqiel taught about earth signs, Shamsiel taught about sun signs, and Sariel taught about the moon's path.
