Chapter XVII Summary
They took me to a place where beings looked like flames but could appear as men. They showed me a dark place and a tall mountain that touched the sky. I saw where the stars and thunder are kept, along with weapons like fiery bows, arrows, and swords, and all the lightnings. They took me to the living waters and to the fire in the west where the sun sets. I saw a river of fire that flows like water and empties into a great sea to the west. I came to big rivers and a great darkness, and went to a place where no living thing goes. I saw the dark mountains of winter and the source of all deep waters. I saw where all the rivers of the earth and the deep sea meet.
They took me to a place where the beings there looked like flames of fire. When they wanted to, they could appear as human.

I saw where the lights and stars are kept, along with the thunder. Deep down, I saw a fiery bow and arrows with their quiver, a fiery sword, and all the lightning.
