Psalms 28:1
Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.
Simple English
I will call out to you, God, my strong protector; don't ignore me. If you don't help me, I might be like those who go down to a terrible place.
