Psalms 70

MAKE HASTE, O GOD, TO DELIVER ME; MAKE HASTE TO HELP ME, O LORD.

Hurry up, God, to save me; hurry to help me, Lord.

Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.

Let those who chase me feel embarrassed and confused; those seeking my harm should fail and become disoriented.

Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.

Let those who say "Aha, aha" experience shame and receive a reward for it.

Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

All who look for you, be happy and celebrate! Those who love your rescue should keep saying, "Let God be praised greatly!"

But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.

But I have nothing; hurry, God, to help me! You are my strength and savior, Lord; don't delay.
