←Back to VersesAnd if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
If a foot causes you trouble, remove it. It's better to enter without that foot and live, rather than keeping both feet but getting thrown into eternal fire.
