←Back to VersesTook branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.
They took palm branches and went to greet him, shouting "Hosanna!" which means "Praised is the Jewish King who comes with the Lord's blessing."
