←Back to VersesAnd now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Now, the axe is ready to cut down trees from their roots. So, any tree that doesn't produce good fruit gets chopped down and thrown into the fire.
