Leviticus 2:9
And the priest shall take from the meat offering a memorial thereof, and shall burn it upon the altar: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
Simple English
The priest will take some of the sacrifice meat as a reminder and burn it on the altar. It's a fire offering with a pleasant smell for God.
