←Back to VersesCome down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate.
Descend and sit in the dirt, Virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the floor; there's no chair, Daughter of the Chaldeans, because you won't be called gentle and delicate anymore.
