Chapter 4

KJV - Hosea 4:1

Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.

Listen to what God says, all you people of Israel, because God has a problem with the people living in the land. There's not enough truth, kindness, or understanding of God where they live.
