Chapter 7

KJV - Ezra 7:1

Now after these things, in the reign of Artaxerxes king of Persia, Ezra the son of Seraiah, the son of Azariah, the son of Hilkiah,

Then, following these events, during the time when Artaxerxes was the king of Persia, there was a person named Ezra. He was the son of Seraiah, who was the son of Azariah, who was the son of Hilkiah.
