Back to ChaptersKJV - Exodus 38:26 A bekah for every man, that is, half a shekel, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for every one that went to be numbered, from twenty years old and upward, for six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty men. Every man paid half a shekel, which is about 2.5 ounces of silver, based on the sanctuary's weight, from ages 20 to up, totaling around 6 million and 355,500 men.
