←Back to VersesAnd when she could not longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid it in the flags by the river’s brink.
When she couldn't hide him anymore, she made a basket from bulrush plants, covered it with sticky stuff and tar, placed the baby inside, and put it among the reeds near the edge of the river.
