When Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses’ father in law, heard of all that God had done for Moses, and for Israel his people, and that the LORD had brought Israel out of Egypt;
When Jethro, who was Moses's father-in-law and a priest from Midian, learned about everything God did for Moses and the Israelites, as well as how the LORD rescued the Israelites from Egypt,
