Back to ChaptersKJV - Daniel 5:19 And for the majesty that he gave him, all people, nations, and languages, trembled and feared before him: whom he would he slew; and whom he would he kept alive; and whom he would he set up; and whom he would he put down. Because of the great power he had, everyone, including different groups of people and languages, were afraid of him. He could choose to kill or save whoever he wanted, as well as raise up or bring down people as he saw fit.
