←Back to VersesAnd Hilkiah, and they that the king had appointed, went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvath, the son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college:) and they spake to her to that effect.
Hilkiah and the people the king chose went to Huldah, a prophetess who was married to Shallum. She was the daughter of Tikvath and Hasrah, who took care of the royal clothes. Huldah lived in Jerusalem at a school, and they told her their message.
