Amaterasu

Amaterasu (天照, Amaterasu, lit. 'she who shines in heaven') is the Shinto sun goddess and the most important deity in the Japanese pantheon. She is considered the direct ancestor of the Japanese imperial family and is enshrined at the Grand Shrine of Ise (Ise Jingu). Amaterasu is often depicted as a woman with long, flowing hair, holding a bow and arrows, and is associated with the sun, light, and life. In the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki, the oldest historical records of Japan, Amaterasu plays a central role in the myth of the creation of Japan and the establishment of the imperial lineage. The Hebrew translation for Amaterasu is אמטראסו. In Chinese, she is known as 天照大神 (Tiānzhào Dàshén), and in Korean, she is referred to as 아마테라스 (Amateraseu).

Amaterasu
Amaterasu Ōmikami , often called Amaterasu for short, also known as Amateru Kami (天照神) and Ōhirume no Muchi (大日孁貴), is the goddess of the sun in Japanese mythology. Often considered the chief deity (kami) of the Shinto pantheon, she is also portrayed in Japan's earliest literary texts, the Kojiki and the Nihon Shoki, as the ruler of the heavenly realm Takamagahara and as the mythical ancestress of the Imperial House of Japan via her grandson Ninigi. Along with two of her siblings she ranks as one of the "Three Precious Children", the three most important offspring of the creator god Izanagi.
