Romans 7:6
But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
Simple English
But now, we're free from the rules that once controlled us, since they caused our spiritual death. Now, we serve with a fresh spirit, not by following old written rules strictly.
