The princes digged the well, the nobles of the people digged it, by the direction of the lawgiver, with their staves. And from the wilderness they went to Mattanah:
The leaders made a well, guided by the lawgiver, along with other important people using their sticks. Then, they traveled from the desert to a place called Mattanah.
