←Back to VersesAnd I said unto them, We after our ability have redeemed our brethren the Jews, which were sold unto the heathen; and will ye even sell your brethren? or shall they be sold unto us? Then held they their peace, and found nothing to answer.
I told them, "We've tried our best to save our Jewish brothers who were captured by non-believers. So, do you want to sell them too? Or should we buy them instead? They didn't say anything in response and had no answer.
