←Back to VersesNo man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
You can't serve two lords: you'll either dislike one and love the other, or support one while disliking the other. You can't serve both God and wealth.
