←Back to VersesYet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
He doesn't have strong foundations, only lasting for a short time. When difficulties or persecution happen because of the word, he gets easily offended soon after.
