Luke 22:61
And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
Simple English
And Jesus turned to look at Peter. Peter then recalled what Jesus had told him: before a rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.
