Describes a time when Israel was ruled by judges and the cycle of turning away from God, facing trouble, and then returning to Him.

Chapter 9

KJV - Judges 9:57

And all the evil of the men of Shechem did God render upon their heads: and upon them came the curse of Jotham the son of Jerubbaal.

God made the bad actions of the people from Shechem come back to them, and they also experienced the punishment from Jotham, son of Jerubbaal.
