←Back to VersesAnd joy and gladness is taken from the plentiful field, and from the land of Moab; and I have caused wine to fail from the winepresses: none shall tread with shouting; their shouting shall be no shouting.
Joy and happiness are taken away from the big field and the land of Moab. I also made wine hard to get from the places where it's pressed. People can't celebrate loudly while getting wine, so there will be no happy shouts.
