O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.
Simple English
O GOD, my power, my protection, and my shelter when I'm in trouble, people from all over the world will seek you during difficult times. They will say, "Our ancestors believed in falsehoods, empty things, and things that don't truly benefit us."
