Isaiah 8:14
And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
Simple English
He will be a place of safety, but a cause of tripping and a source of anger to both parts of Israel. He will also be a trap and a snare for the people living in Jerusalem.
