Isaiah 59:9

Therefore is judgment far from us, neither doth justice overtake us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, but we walk in darkness.

So, judgment is far away from us and justice doesn't come to our help. We wait for clarity, but only confusion appears; for brightness, but we walk in the dark.
