Uses the prophet's marriage as a symbol for Israel's unfaithfulness and God's faithful love.

Chapter 5

KJV - Hosea 5:6

They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the LORD; but they shall not find him; he hath withdrawn himself from them.

They will take their sheep and cows to look for God, but they won't find Him because He has hidden Himself from them.
