←Back to VersesThey were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;
They faced stones and sawing, experienced temptations, were killed by swords. They wore animal skins because they had nothing, and suffered greatly.
