Back to ChaptersKJV - Ezra 6:8 Moreover I make a decree what ye shall do to the elders of these Jews for the building of this house of God: that of the king’s goods, even of the tribute beyond the river, forthwith expenses be given unto these men, that they be not hindered. Additionally, I am ordering what you must do for the leaders of these Jewish people to help build God's house. Use money from the king's possessions, specifically the extra taxes collected beyond the river, to provide funds for these men immediately so they can continue without any interruptions.
