Ezra

Describes the return of the Jews from Babylonian exile and the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem.

Chapter 10

KJV - Ezra 10:6

Then Ezra rose up from before the house of God, and went into the chamber of Johanan the son of Eliashib: and when he came thither, he did eat no bread, nor drink water: for he mourned because of the transgression of them that had been carried away.

Then Ezra got up from in front of God's house and went to Johanan's room, where he didn't eat or drink anything because he was sad about the people who were taken away and their wrong actions.
