Moses gives speeches about laws and the importance of following God before the Israelites enter the Promised Land.

Chapter 25

KJV - Deuteronomy 25:1

If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, that the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked.

If people have a disagreement and go to court for judges to decide, the judges will support the innocent and blame the guilty.
