And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace:

When he wanted to go to Achaia, the brothers wrote a letter encouraging the disciples to welcome him. When he arrived, he greatly helped those who believed through God's kindness.
