Judges

Describes a time when Israel was ruled by judges and the cycle of turning away from God, facing trouble, and then returning to Him.

Chapter 3

KJV - Judges 3:2

Only that the generations of the children of Israel might know, to teach them war, at the least such as before knew nothing thereof;

So that the children of Israel's generations would learn, teaching them about war, even those who didn't know anything about it before.
