←Back to VersesThen there was a famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David enquired of the LORD. And the LORD answered, It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he slew the Gibeonites.
Then, during David's time, there was a famine that lasted three years in a row. David asked the Lord what was causing it. The Lord replied that it was because of Saul and his family, who had killed the people from Gibeon.
